You are already aware of the history of the furry fandom, but when, how and why did furries get to be SO QUEER? In this talk, Arrkay from the award-winning video series "Culturally F'd" takes a second look into the queer origins of the furry fandom. Our journey takes us through homophobia fueled flame wars, a convention described as a "pride parade on acid", all the way to litterboxes in classrooms. Together we'll peer into the past of queer and trans furry artists, marches, frolics and raves, and even some pre-fandom stuff just for fun.
