Four talented artists go head to head in a series of surprise, timed art challenges. Each round, our judge eliminates one artist until the winner is crowned! The twist? New to furry art? In this panel, you'll learn how to draw a basic dog and why that's a great starting block for most furry art. We'll then take what you learned and apply that to a formula for drawing every furry face under the sun. Bring your sketchbooks!
Join us to sew up some fuzzy hand and rod puppets with tons of personality (and optional arms!)! The Snoof is a fun and free puppet pattern pioneered by Adam Kreutinger. This is an advanced beginners workshop for eager puppeteers looking to make a fuzzy hand puppet of their very own! This panel will have supplies for 20 participants and will require sewing experience and the ability to work with hot glue guns. All children need to work with an adult guardian, as this puppet requires the use of needles, scissors, and hot glue. Get ready for a lip sync sing along at the end of the workshop to break in those new little critters!
I will be bringing supplies for making a badge! Those who attend are encouraged to bring their own art work to turn into a badge! Supplies and seats are limited/first come, first serve. Come hangout and make your fursona into a badge!
Con badges are a unique thing to the furry fandom. It's how we identify ourselves and each other using original artwork worn at conventions and meetups. Learn about this form of art and expression, from its early history in the fandom to how it's used today!
